According to Boeing, the 777-200ER has a maximum range of 7.700nm so it should be able to fly between these city pairs. I don't know about the load capacity when it flies such a long route.

Yeah,they did a discreet "tidy" up of the colour but not too much,just perfect. I love their livery and I'd hate to see it gone! Those illustration samples by the way,reminds me of BMI don't you think??

As I recall SAS was not very pleased with the deliverytime from Boeing, they were actually interested in the 739 of course but Airbus was able to get their jets faster out of the factory..this was of course from some interview I saw on swedish television some time ago...Maybe If they would have wait...

At least on the TG 744:s the temp control is by exit 02L
as I was sitting next to that exit and the FA was smiling every time she came to adjust the temp!

I flew on a TG 744 HKG-BKK back in august -99 and I noticed the cabin attendant was adjusting the temp. all the time on a display next to the exit, I was sitting in the exit row. It seems it didn't work very well since she adjusted between cooler and warmer every half hour...I continued on a TG 743 ...

Mine was in August -99 VAA-ARN-CPH-BKK-HKG. SAS MD-80 first two segments, Thai 744 third and Thai 772 last to HKG. Total flying time was 17 hrs. I flew on an Iberia MD-87 in july, the configuration was
the same as in their MD-88 series.
I haven't flown in any of their older DC-9 so I can't tell if it's company preference?
