Someone mentioned the Dash8 cockpit being spacious....I totally agree.

I got a newsletter from Transport Canada saying that from Feb 1st, 2009, search and rescue will no longer recieve signals from 121.5 and 243 MHz ELTs.

They will now be using the digital 406 MHz signal.

are other countries doing this?
