RE: What Up With Bwia & Their L-1011 Replacement?

this thread looks like it could spark another Airbus vs Boeing debate.

but IMHO, having pilots already type rated on 738s should be easy to step up to 763s.

doesn't matter to me though, as long as more jobs are created  Smile

RE: Has Anyone Flown Canada 3000?

I've flown on C3 from toronto to Port of Spain, Trinidad. that was in january this year on the A332. flight was excellent, service was excellent and great food. very comfortable. but then I flew with them to Winnipeg in June on the ex-royal B732. Rude and unhospitable crew, shaky flight and ice cold...

I guess this stereotypes me as one of those terrorists. but the funny part is, I am presbyterian, and I couldn't be further away from the middle east. I am a hard core wes...

RE: Inflight Cockpit Visit

writing a letter seems like an alright idea, but how do we get that letter to the captain?
handing it to the flight attendant is as useless as asking him/her to send a message upfront.

helicopters are cool, but their theory of flight limits their flexibility when it comes to altitude and speed ; as well as noise abatement.
just my humble opinion.

RE: The Missing People Number In NY Is Exaggerated

heard a rumour that some people are using this as an excuse to run away from their husbands/wives. All they have to do is submit their name as 'missing' and disappear. Sounds silly to me, but if it's true, it will surely contribute to those exagerated figures.
