I think they probably dine out on the fact that they think they are above the law and if you dare answer back or take them to task the only thing they can do is make you miss your flight which makes them think they are untouchable because nobody risks missing their flight - so they can get away with...

I'm sure the photo you posted is from the 3 class configured 777's which is what started my initial confusion - I wish it was that style of seat and telly screen I was getting!!

On the BHX flight I think the actual seat on my choice for flights is the one posted by EkA380.
