The data I pulled was from Sunday. On the current schedule, Sunday has the peak schedule. However, it appears that on the new schedule, Sundays run a reduced schedule (currently Saturdays run on the reduced schedule in PHX). I'm going to re-calculate the data with Friday data instead. I flew into LGA tonight. It was a cluster. It took an hour to get a cab. Maybe that is normal but it seems like a long time. The lines were really long. Getting out once in the cab wasn't horrible but not fast. The cabbie told us to leave extra early for our return flight.

I know it's been talked about a lot, but the reason there is such a massive volume of UAX flights in STL is because both Trans States and GoJet have crew and maintanence bases here, which means planes get rotated in and out pretty often. I know some people that have flown Frontier LAS-STL leaves 12:30 am arrives 5:30 am. Around 2 hours 45 minutes in air. I heard it wasn't fun.

American also runs a midnight to 4:30 am flight from PHX-STL at times and is a little bit shorter in the air.

I think MidAmerica is probably giving them a really good deal. I would expect landing fees are a lot lower. G4 also seems happy to be in secondary airports in a lot of markets.
