RE: Who Will Fly 727's Domestic?

FLY ATA--Are you sure? ATA website says they are all gone by end of October. I can find a 727 on today's FLL-IND flight, but none in the system after that. SRQ seems to have had their last one yesterday.

Thomacf,

I've always wondered about that as well.

Another good fit would be HP and US

6. 727-22 for United first flight--Feb 9, 1963
7. 707-200, i think there were only 5 sold & 1 crashed on a pre-flight If you're not breaking down in series, I would say 777.

RE: Best U.S. Major Route System

SFO intern, I,totally agree with you. That's why i picked UA for overall. But I feel they are VERY weak in the southeast U.S. I've always wondered, when Eastern went down, why United didn't grab those 53 gates in Atlanta. With Atlanta, combined with DEN,ORD,SFO,IAD would have taken care of the whole...

Best U.S. Major Route System

Hey guys,

What U.S. major do you think has the best route system? (domestic) and overall (dom & international)

I would say Delta for domestic
United for overall.  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

RE: Southwest's Fleet

A while back,I read in AIRLINERS magazine that Southwest uses only the ultra-quiet -700 at ISP due to noise concerns.

RE: Southwest's Fleet

I'm wondering that also. I was at BWI labor day weekend, and I saw many Southwest aircraft, but not a single -200. NOT ONE! I've noticed the # of 200s here in Tampa dwindle.
