From the DL Network thread, TATL in July: JFK in July: - JFK-AMS A333 (Daily) + KL 2x daily = 3x daily - JFK-CDG A333 (Daily) + AF 2x daily = 3x daily - JFK-TLV A333 (Su, W, F, Sa) JFK is also getting LIS and ATH nonstops back (for now) starting 16 July. Interesting but not surprising that ATL won out over JFK for getting the initial TATL adds. The part that surprises me most about DL’s TATL adds is how they are being done, which is essentially ATL direct to non-primary (AMS, CDG, LHR) Europe. If you’d have asked me last week how DL’s return would ...

I think the answer to why DL is scheduling all these transatlantic flights is actually very simple: it is more or less of a win-win situation for Delta. Either the COVID-19 situation improves a lot between now and then and DL will shuttle packed flights back and forth, or the situation does not imp...

Interesting that DL is going 2x on DTW-ICN instead of resuming MSP-ICN. It’s not actually a second DTW-ICN per se as it’s really a DTW-ICN-PVG flight (notice that DTW-PVG is axed). The question now is how much longer does DL maintain the 60% passenger cap. There are already flights that are reaching that load factor regularly, particularly on the hub-to-hub routes. The D1 Suites on the 777s as they currently are, are wider than those on the A359s, so they will not fit as-is. I have no idea how difficult or easy it would be to modify them (e.g., thinner door or frame) to fit on the A359s or if it's even possible at all.

A week ago, they were in the $60 to 70 million range. April cuts a...
