How is the purchasing power of Americans “limited”. Average incomes here are significantly higher than most of the world. Certainly considerably more than the UK.

Vast, vast majority of my flights have been non-stop. Even single connections are few and far between.

Only made two stops a couple of times - and one of those trips only involved a second connecting airport due to a bus trip.

Both flights this week (DEN-SEA on UA and the return leg on AS) saw both airlines cheap out and not give full cans. Both airlines cited the same reason - the flights were full and they needed to be sure they had enough for everyone.

DEN is my home airport, so I've never connected there but having flown to/from and connected in dozens of other U.S. airports there's no comparison.

If I had to pick a #2... I've only ever connected at DTW, but I've always found it a pleasant, problem free airport.

There's clearly a historical reason why the major Canadian airports have a code that starts with a Y. And I'm sure someone will explain. But the rest of the letters often make no (obvious) sense either.

Although Cheyenne is one better than Fort Collins, CO which currently has NO scheduled services. Previously it was served exclusively by Allegiant until 2012 and then more recently by Elite.

That is true, but flying out of DEN my options are more limited. No VS or CX. The lovely people at BA charge a big premium to book a x-x-2 seat at the back of their 747. United have 767's with a connection in Chicago but mainly 777's out of the other hubs.
