Re: Cities/Metro Areas Underserved Compared To Their Population

Flybe has improved things a little, but other than that, Sheffield and its South Yorkshire conurbation (roughly 1.2 million people) has been stuck with either holiday flights to the Med or a handful of crappy LCC flights to Eastern Europe. DSA has one of (if not the) longest runway at a commercial a...

Currently sitting at DEN after my AA flight to DFW (scheduled for 10:48) was cancelled due to a faulty engine. AA staff were responsive and professional. Depends on how much I value the seat. If I’ve paid to reserve it (like the $112 I recently paid BA to reserve an exit row seat), I’ll definitely ask the other passenger to move.

If I haven’t paid to reserve and it’s a crappy middle seat I won’t care.

Re: Why don't Australian/NZ airlines join TSA PreCheck?

With regard to Air Serbia, there’s massive competition on routes between Europe and the U.S. - which could lead to airlines adopting any (perceived) advantage they can.

Between the U.S. and Australia/NZ there’s far less competition, so possibly less incentive to sign up.
