Re: Unbearable stench from passenger causes emergency landing

I'm not going to drop names but there was a certain flight from a certain country that had all its passengers smelling awful, it was real torture and even our uniforms would smell like the plague after that nasty flight. I'm glad it's in the past now.

I'm curious to know if any other airline uses the same location for theis crew rest bunks on their A340s. Were there complaints before? On some A340/A330s, the technical crew rest area is right behind the cockpit and the cabin crew is in the LDMCR - Lower Deck Mobile Crew Rest, located at door 3L. ...

It's good to dream a bit, the 727s were amazing machines and it would be fantastic to see them getting a re-vamp but unfortunately it's something that will never happen. I started my career flying the 727-100s, it was a great time for three-holers but that time is gone :old:

Re: Could CFM International offer the B-722 a new lease on life?

No, and there are 2 reasons why not. 1. Being a rear engine aircraft, you cannot just bolt on much heavier engines onto an existing frame. Especially the middle engine, which would be impossible to retrofit to a high bypass fan. When the MD-80 series was developed into the MD-90 with heavier high b...

Well... I would not say that, for this topic, a 2 meter length difference between the B737 and the B707 is not really the main point why comfort was different on Varig in the past. The main point was the way Varig configured their B737s compared to their B707s at that time. Then you compare to what...

I think it's crazy too.
