Trinidad and Tobago (effective 3/22) and Jamaica(effective 3/24) have both closed their borders to incoming traffic. Save for a handful of repatriation flights and the Tobago air bridge, this essentially represents a shutdown of BW.

I agree that the LCCs/ULCCs will recover more quickly. The recession that this brings will lead people to be looking for the lowest fares even more so than they were prior. Fare levels will likely be depressed for a while. The legacies will find it difficult to make money at those depressed levels.

It wouldn't surprise me if DL closes the SEA hub. It's probably the weakest out of all of them. I expect the same for AA @ JFK. They’ve suspended all long haul flights out of there including LHR. Why does AA still fly to Heathrow from RDU? I thought they shut down the RDU hub after the TWA merger. Charlotte is only a few hours away and that is the second largest AA hub. Good luck to DL on this. It's going to be tough as AA has both the AS feed on the SEA end and the BA feed on the LHR end, both of which IIRC are bigger than DL's feed on the SEA end and VS's feed on the LHR end respectively.

The obvious reality facing as is that b6 has killed them out of FLL to SFO and lax since they entered. That can easily be proved. Mint eats as out for lunch on transcons market. Considering aa itself has minimal presence at FLL. It baffles my mind you keep dreaming as will come back on these routes...
