Re: British Airways to launch Nashville

This is long overdue. I'm stunned it got announced this soon. Well, the article says "An announcement is expected as soon as next week" so the announcement doesn't have to be next week it could still be a month away. You just aren't going to accept the fact BNA is going to get this first ...

Two more: First, I'm assuming that the flight's destination is LHR, but is that for sure? And, what equipment will be used? My first guess would be 787s from LHR, but I wouldn't be surprised to see it served by 777s from LGW. I can't imagine them starting with a 777 nor Gatwick. I suspect this will...

There's already a new thread on this with people arguing it's just rumor. It is a bit odd they mention it before an announcement, but given the desire of the city (and not just the a.net crowd) the get this service makes me believe it's real.

If you're traveling next spring and want to be certain to travel on a 717, MD-88 and MD-90, it's best to purchase your ticket within 30 days as DL's fairly aggressive in making schedule changes. FWIW, while 717 and MD-88 are common on DTW/MSP/ATL - CLT/RDU, MD-90s are fairly rare. They certainly do...

Let's wait for China's next aquisition plans. They will need big aircraft big time. They've had ~15 years to order the 380. There are five at CZ. I know government interference has impeded where CZ can fly them, but if Chinese airlines really thought they could fill them, they'd be flying right now.
