Re: The most dangerous democrat in the USA

Who? Kamila Harris? Is that right? I'm not even going to click back to find out. Anyway.... Never heard of her. It sure doesn't take much to get some conservatives' heads in a lather. I've never seen a single group of people that get unnecessarily worked up over individual politicians as conservativ...

This Dr. David guy from Texas sounds like he thinks religion is important. Well, one is. Hindus have their shit together.

Re: YouTube blacklisting conservative channels

I decided to watch O'Reilly a few months ago. The ads dealt with impotence medication (two kinds), some sort of hocus-pocus skin rub for arthritis called Blue Emu, subscriptions to the print version of National Review, and Life Alert (I've fallen and I can't get up). Sounds like O'Reilly's viewers ...

Re: YouTube blacklisting conservative channels

Advertisers love FOX news. They have more eyeballs watching every commercial than any other news channel or YouTube channel in existence. They are an ad companies dream network. I decided to watch O'Reilly a few months ago. The ads dealt with impotence medication (two kinds), some sort of hocus-poc...

Wanna come and see B712's? Come to MSP. Those things are buzzing around here like flies. Just to note: They could use a better bottom seat cushion. Other than that, they're nice.

Re: What do you drink with your dinner?

For dinner, I drink pop. For supper, I drink milk. That's confusing. Where I'm from when people say "supper" it means the same thing as dinner. We usually say dinner though. I drink 1-2 coffees or energy drinks early in the day, and the rest of the day drink water or water+flavoring (drin...

Re: Confined to bed with an ankle fracture. What are your experiences?

I've broken mine in the past and now I'm old. The affected ankle at this point is subject to edema. No matter how many diuretics I take, it's permanently edematous. Also, it'll ache when the weather changes.

I was the lead person in deciding my mother's last few days of care. She was in the local hospital and unconscious and was dying of lung cancer. I have an extensive medical background and my family let me call the shots. I think they were relieved that they didn't have to make the difficult decision...

Re: Televangelist suggests alternate flu shot: ‘Inoculate yourself with the word of God’

Why do many religious people seem to think they have to preach to others? I was taught that religion is a private matter. But there are the people who think they are guardians of God (or whatever). They think it's their job to shelter the unborn fetuses. And try to get others to pray like they do. H...

Re: The Increasing Unfitness of Donald Trump

Trump is supposed to undergo an annual physical at a military hospital this week as usual practice of Presidents and to release the results of it shortly thereafter. Parts of the physical will include indirect checks on his mental state but unless something really stands out to require a follow up,...

Re: The Increasing Unfitness of Donald Trump

He’s having his physical on wednesday, the results will be published, this should be fun. The White House doctor will discover the cause of his erratic behavior. He'll find that the President is suffering from a severe case of phimosis (look it up if you have to) and it's constricting the blood flo...

I liked Franken's composure and focus during the committee meetings on the committees he served.

I have a 17 year old Ford Explorer Sport Trac with 210,000 miles on it. I would have traded it off seven years ago, but Ford stopped making a mid-sized, 4-door pickup. I knew they'd eventually come to their senses and chose to wait them out. Well, the 2018 Ford Ranger 4-door pickup (with the feature...

I watched the Sean Hannity show the other night. Man, he is so bloody obsessed with Clinton that his ears are dripping... but maybe that's hair cream. You'd think the Right would have more important stuff to worry about, like planning their next strategy to remain alive as a party.
