Re: What will happen to Etihads 77L's

Is there really a need for you to act like the board proctor? It was not my intention »to act like the board proctor« , but I wondered if it may not be better to continue a existing thread on this topic instead of starting a new one. PS: Is there really a need for you to post your so kind reply twi...

Re: What if the Dornier 728/928 entered production?

It's interesting that Crossair didn't consider the Dornier 728/928 and now (as Swiss International/Global Air Lines) they were the launch customer for another 5-abreast aircraft in the CS100. As for how it would perform compared to the E-Jet...was this to be a rear-engined jet or with wing-mounted ...

Re: NH175 LAX-NRT returning to LAX due to a passenger being onboard who shouldnt be onboard

I'm just trying to figure out how they found out 4 hours later?! Did the crew find the pax figure did not correspond to the manifest? Did the pax say something? Or did sequence X show up and they found in the system that he had already boarded? Perhaps the pax complained when the wrong food was ser...

Re: F-22s in Syria

I meant to say Now they've even allowed the Ruskies to practice with their SU-35 airborne radars. [...] I think the USAF would absolutely LOVE if an SU-35 lit up its radar in just about any mode. I doubt either side is tipping its hand much. If I recall correctly, the Russians don't have any Su-35s...

Re: Alitalia 77W goes into storage

The plane is back on the move, according to FlightAware it has done two flights today, 12/6/17. https://flightaware.com/live/flight/EIWLA/history/20171206/0618Z/LIRF/LGAV As LIRF has mentioned in the AZ-banruptcy-thread, the plane was scheduled to enter service on 15 DEC. What about the 77W EI-WLA?...

What about the 77W EI-WLA? It returned from ZRH, where it has allegedly been for maintenace reasons, to FCO on Nov 15th. What about the 748F L/N 1437, A7-BGA? It was ferried back from painting over one month ago (02 NOV 2017) and nothing was heard of this frame since then.

Doesn't QR take up its ordered planes in time once again or what's going on?

Re: Does the 787 have a place at LH?

When the 777 came out in the 90s, LH was still very much against sending twins Transatlantic. [...] Their first transatlantic twin flight of I recall correctly was a subleased Lauda Air 763 to Miami. I dont't know when they leased that 767 from Lauda, but in the 90s they used A300s and A310s on som...

Perhaps the 777s will end up with IR, if the Trump-administration denies them to purchase any new 777 from Boeing?

As there is a lot of inventory in TLS, Airbus cannot work on all aircraft simultaneously. Some are being worked on (first photo below)... https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4576/38602781171_54908cdbce_z.jpg F-WWYV by @Eurospot , on Flickr What is that for an A380 without engines at the background?

Re: Report: New BER airport unlikely to open before 2021

Are they at least using the not-so-new-anymore runway? Usually only the northern runway (07L/25R). The southern runway (07R/25L) has been operational twice for some months (MAY - OCT 2015 and JUL - OCT 2017) due to construction works being done on the northern RWY. But if 07R/25L goes into service ...

The planning authority was with berlin (state) and Brandenburg (state) correct. Both are socialist run and mismanaged. It was their decision to NOT have a professional airport project management team, as it was deemed too expensive. It was left up to the local governmental planning & constructi...
