Re: Luftansa New livery!

I am almost certain you've seen the HUGE 500+ LH Rumor thead on this site.. No need for a new thread.. I don't normally agree with posts like this, but I'll make an exception here. To the OP... if something's still a rumour, you need to put that in the title. Also, don't have your reference be some...

Well, I love new things, and it’s a change, I loved the old look, but I like the simplistic design of the new one

Re: Reuters: United to consider Airbus A321 NEO.

I would be very surprised if UA were to NOT order A321s at some point. On a separate note, would it make sense for Boeing to develop a 767 MAX in the same manner than Airbus NEO'd the 330? You'd think a long-time 767 operator like UA would look at such a bird to directly replace some 767s. Yeah, I’...

Re: 777-10 to be Boeing's 747 replacement.

Wow, you really analyzed that! :!: I see your thinking, but I think Boeing wouldn’t add an upper deck. The 779X holds 414 in a 2 class config, the upper deck would be an extra 50? At the most in Econ. The 748 holds 430 in a Three class. I don’t think the upper deck would be worth it, and with the f...

Re: EasyJet is starting to fly from Berlin Tegel

Hmm. This is odd, their a BUDGET airline, so why are they going into airports like Berlin Tegel!?!? Unless you haven't been following the news, U2 took over some of AB's operations at TXL after they folded. And as stated by other posters, U2 does not focus on secondary airports like Ryanair does (a...

Re: Delta Widebody Thread

I'm curious how DL is still able to fly N674US, albeit for only 2-3 days, without having done the centre fuel tank inerting system modification, that supposedly needed to be done by Dec 31st 2017, in order for it to still be able to fly legally. The US deadline was actually Dec 26th 2017 (odd date)...

Why did (the company) IAE fail?

I’m not sure if this should be Here or in technical, but I was wondering why (the company, not the engine itself inflight or something) failed. They sold quite a lot of engines on the A320, and was the sole engine choice for the MD90. So, why did IAE fail? Also, I know the V2500 is now manufactured ...

Re: A New 717?

No because Boeing sees the 100-150 seat segment as one market which is already covered by the 737-700 at the bottom end of the spectrum.... closest to the bottom end.... Um, no they don't. The 73G has never been seen nor sold as a 100-seat aircraft. It's far too large and heavy for that, and it bar...

will Boeing or Airbus make a new 100 seater aircraft? Apart from the Embraer deal on Boeing’s end and the C-Series deal with Airbus, could it happen?

2016. United airlines B772 non ER/LR. Houston to Honlolu. Nice flight on a big, but full plane. I was in premium economy, but that was due to the plane being full and us being delayed for 11 hours in Houston. :banghead: I said within the Continental US, but hey nothing wrong with a 772 on IAH-HNL. ...

although DAL has orders for the a359, what will replace the 777 with. I don’t think delta will use the 350to replace the 777. The 777 fleet is old, and it’s proabbly going to need to be retired soon. The A350is replacing the 747, and the A330neo is replacing the older 767s. What will DAL do.

Could McDonnell Douglas be rebooted?

I was wondering if McDonnell Douglas could ever come back, even though Boeing purchased them a while ago. Is their any chance someone can possibly just run a company under their name? Or even a full reboot.
