AA can in my opinion try PHL-DEL or an ORD-BOM
PHL is required as one stop connections are low for PHL - India .
ORD-BOM is also a highly under served route with strong O&D .

DFW / LAX India ,although an option ,is too long a route and yields will suffer .

Err, codeshare partners sell tickets and pay money. So you expect code share partners for an airline with nonexistent routes! Brilliant! The airline has 22 codeshare partners and many more interline partners. Most of them codeshare on their flights from DEL / BOM only. So it hardly matters to them ...

There were quite a few media articles saying SBI was about to move the NCLT route to recover loans from jet . The airline's stocks fell 5% due to the same .
Today SBI confirmed that it was just a media speculation ! Yet another (failed) attempt by Indian media and lobbyists to damage the situation .

Even in India EU they will have a hard time as LHR is slot constrained so is AMS to some extent . They can partner with LH group at FRA , MUC, ZRH AMS is maxed out, 9W will be the first if any slot opens up. AI probably looking for 2 more LHR slots. LH already interlines with AI and 9W for India side connections. They can go for Vistara too.
Don't bring 6E everywhere. LH group doesn't need them at the moment.
QR -6E codeshare hasn't even been announced officially yet but here we're talking about a third partner where there's no second!
