I believe AA committed to keeping LAX-NRT during the HND route case. It was framed as getting an additional HND frequency at a different time to offer additional JAL beyond connectivity, not shifting existing NRT service.

Per UA townhall connections represent half of boardings at SFO.

If not for such high connectivity feed UA would never be able to serve as many markets simply based on SF demand.

Its seems their entire strategy to return to Europe has been a financial failure.
Remember they restarted service first to AMS daily via DXB in 2010 and have been tinkering ever since with Europe capacity, frequency, routings, product etc

I don't get it. Just because Singapore and Malaysia are close to each other doesn't mean a merger would make sense. To me, MAS would be far more appealing as an acquisition target for an airline much further away who will see MAS as an opportunity to have a hub in this part of the world and greatly...

Couple of days ago they announcing dropping a bunch of US and domestic routes, so who knows what they will be flying come next March.
Also their new CEO likely will transition them into a ULCC, so product/pricing could see big changes also.

I would not risk especially this far out.
