Re: Should airline regulators consider grounding B737 MAX series

Considering it was China that banned MAX first its easy to say this has nothing to do with safety. Just a perfect tool to strike US/Trump trade policies. Just my opinion. Than why would the UK ban these aircraft? They are about to leave the EU, they need a new trade deal with the USA asap. Its fine...

You might not feel the same way if like that Slovakian MP, you had lost your wife and two children in this latest crash. What if the plane was improperly configured for flight? The FO had 200 hours of flight experience. The plane seemed unable to climb, pointing possibly to non deployment of flaps....

Re: Should airline regulators consider grounding B737 MAX series

A rookie chef would not be able to handle the knife skills of a seasoned Japanese hibachi chef. A well-trained and confidant pilot will have no issue handling an issue on the 737Max. The procedure for disabling the trim has remained the same since the 1960's. I love how people who are not airline p...

My understanding is that the ATC recording indicates that more than one person was in the cockpit as this unfolded. Its a very smart move for Delta to fly the A220 into cities that are its main competitors hubs. AA and UA do not have a domestic plane that can compete with the A220 on routes between each of the US3's hubs. I think its even fair to say coach class on the DL A220 far better than a UA/AA first class...
