RE: Largest Aircraft Every At SJC

I live but 5 minutes from <acronym title="San Jose - Norman Y. Mineta International (Municipal) (SJC / KSJC), USA - California">SJC</acronym>. Would love to fly out of this airport everytime if flights to England, India or any other overseas point were available. <acronym title="San Francisco - Inte...

RE: Largest Aircraft Every At SJC

What does the City of San Jose have to do to attract an overseas airline ?
What about Jet Air or Kingfisher out of India ?
Or a Europeon link ?

RE: Largest Aircraft Every At SJC

I have lived in San Jose since 1981 and have never seen a 747 at <acronym title="San Jose - Norman Y. Mineta International (Municipal) (SJC / KSJC), USA - California">SJC</acronym>. The biggest aircraft I've seen here are the 777, MD11 and a Tri-star. With the runway recently extended a few years ba...

RE: Indian Aviation Thread: Part 25

I flew <acronym title="London - Heathrow (LHR / EGLL), United Kingdom">LHR</acronym> to ATQ via Tashkent back in November 2004. Tashkent is an absolute 'hell hole'. One of the most depressing airports to transit through. I believe <acronym title="Jet Airways (India)">9W</acronym> will succeed with t...

Is the Amritsar- LHR route for Jet Airways back in the works ? Their website states that August 4 will be the first flight.

RE: How Or Why Are Virgin So Popular?

I fly on Virgin only because of special airfares from time to time. The service is sub-par compared to other carriers that also fly across the pond. But who cares, as long as you get from point A to point B, pay a lower fare, there should be no whining.

RE: Pics Of A380 Super First Class Suites

I remember when the 747 first came out in 1970, for most airlines, the upper deck was a lounge for the first class passengers. But it was only a matter of time before airlines realized that the lounge was a non-revenue gimmick and replaced it with revenue earning seats. This will probably apply to t...

RE: Jet Airways New Service Between ATQ And LHR

Has the new terminal at ATQ opened ? Last time I flew into ATQ in November 2004, the arrival and customs hall were about the size of a two car garage.
Very cramped, very dirty and very depressing. I'm assuming the new terminal must have opened by now. Does anyone know and are any pics available.

Will this service be to the east coast only or is there any chance of a west coast (<acronym title="San Francisco - International (SFO / KSFO), USA - California">SFO</acronym>, <acronym title="Los Angeles - International (LAX / KLAX), USA - California">LAX</acronym> or <acronym title="San Jose - Nor...

RE: Air India Non-Stop To US Update

Hello, long time viewer of A-Net but now finally a member. This is my first post. Since <acronym title="American Airlines (USA)">AA</acronym> has announced it will cease the daily San Jose to Tokyo in October, what are the chances of the City of San Jose pursuing a direct flight from India to <acron...
