The reason why the 744D doesnt have winglets is because the extra fuel weight required to be carried by the aeroplane just to move those winglets which weigh hundreds of kilograms is not offset by the drag they offset on such short flights the 744D is designed for.Jump to post

If she has an ethernet card and you have an ethernet card. Get a cross over cable (DONT get a patch cable as this cable is for Hubs). And directly link them Ethernet to Ethernet. You should get 400mbits/second transfer then. Instead of 11mbits/sec from WiFi and the 100Mbits/second from USB.

If I were you I would use fully automatic mode till you get a feel for the camera. See what the camera suggests what settings to use and then bounce around with a few random shots in Av, Tv or Fully Manual modes adjusting the settings as you go. I think that screening should be done on a First in First Out basis, its not uncommon for people to add a single photo, wait for it to nearly be screened and then just whack in loads of shots last minute, pushing everyone away from the front of the queue.
