I flew on TF-ATR last year with Excel Airways and the Captain said that the B757 cockpit was wider than the B767 and felt like it had more room.

I listen to Key 103 or Galaxy 102 while spotting. I dont have the luxury of a scanner so I have to use the radio on my phone for entertainment in between movements.

@LHR Simon,

It opens at 07:30am, but the que to get in is going to be about
10 miles long so you wont get in till 09:30am. I would suggest going to another spot.

Jason, I think only yu and Shaun are the only 1's crazy enough to WANT to sleep in a terminal hehe, so no worry about not getting a good peg hehe.

You dont really need the viewing area, /me thinks that its just because there is a cafe there that people go there, but you can just go a little further down, or even to the pub of 24R is in use as I posted. that makes the Viewing area not the best place then  <img src="/discussions/graphics/sm...

Yeah, 24L will more than likely be closed, but anything above a 757 will have to be put on a remote stand as they cant park anythin over that on 24L its not big enough :/

I just got back, I am telling ya the viewing area was packed. I know that there were some extra SWISS charters, but it was busier than when concord came!!!.

2day was okay, bit cold. Too cloudy for "Dot" spotting. Had some funny moments tho.
