YUL/YVR-DUB will start with a Rouge 763 in May before switching to 333 in June. From what I am seeing on another forum, YUL-DUB remains on Rouge through June. Indeed, seems like the start date for AC818 is July 2 now. They are most likely using the 333 in June for transcon. Will be used on AC797/AC...Jump to post
YUL is great, but AC & JV will be competing for that same feed with TP. This may mean loss of connectivity on AC in Canada, which may not make it so desirable. The O&D is in large part served by TS on this route, with AC probably having to rely on connecting traffic to fill up the route. TP...Jump to post
TAP's chairman mentioned new routes in 2020: LAX, IAH, ATL, YUL and JNB (resumption). Video (only in Portuguese) min. 26: https://jornaleconomico.sapo.pt/noticias/miguel-frasquilho-2018-nao-foi-um-bom-ano-para-a-tap-422619 ATL? Really? A place with no connections, minimal O&D and a fortress hub...Jump to post
Air Canada's attention to Montreal in recent years has been high, traditionally a European gateway. Last year they started nonstops to Tokyo and now Sao Paulo, cities until now only flown from their main Toronto hub. Fully agree, plus Shanghai which was added in 2017. Including Lima in December 201...Jump to post

They are still scheduled on YUL-CDG this summer.
I wonder if they'd be interested in starting YUL-DSS.Jump to post
We can all agree that WS presence at YUL is pathetic!!
No wonder AC dominates at YUL. What's worrying is they can't even make YUL-YVR work year round or FLL (probably the single largest US market).
It seems that DFW-YUL is returning to mainline A319 next spring instead of E175.Jump to post
Service to ATH from YUL & YYZ increases to 9 weekly flights.

AC is upping frequencies on YUL-TLV during peak summer time: https://www.routesonline.com/news/38/airlineroute/281842/air-canada-increases-montreal-tel-aviv-flights-in-s19/ This is not new, AC was flying YUL-TLV 3 weekly this past summer. It’s not claiming to be new, it’s an increase in frequency T...Jump to post

LOT will be getting 4 new 789s next year. They are planning to use them on WAW-ICN, WAW-PEK, WAW-NRT, WAW-ORD and KRK-ORD routes. 788s will be used from JUN'19 to boost frequencies on: ⋅ WAW-YYZ from 9x to 12x weekly ⋅ WAW-LAX from 6x weekly to daily ⋅ WAW-EWR from 4x ...Jump to post
Why such long waits from the arrivals in Santiago to departures, 2 hours seems very long. In these times of 787 why can't each city have their own nonstop to Toronto ? Operating tag flights seems very 1970's when deep Latin America was the king of tags, RIO-EZE-SCL was very common. IT sounds like A...Jump to post

And maybe YYC-Europe or YYC-Asia.
That YUL-YHZ-YUL ‘333 is gone (last week) and now we’ve got a ‘763 doing a YYYZ-YHZ-YYZ turn each afternoon. Wonder what the plan will be for next summer? Back to a YUL-YHZ-YUL ‘333? So far, it seems they'll only send a mix of narrowbodies from both YUL and YYZ. You can keep an eye on it here: http...Jump to post
Did Air Canada ever fly to BCN before rouge? If so, do you guys think they could everatke it back to mainline? Yes Summer 2013 both from YUL and YYZ, right before the launch of Rouge. I doubt BCN will see the return of mainline service, it is purely a leisure destination YUL/YYZ-ATH is a better can...Jump to post
Nice upguaged going on here. I'm wondering what routes all the 87-8's are going on.. 8 frames so: YVR-KIX YVR-LHR (AC896) YVR-ZRH YVR-BNE (2x frames counting the YUL tag) That leaves 3x 788s. Any old Mainline 763 routes to be taken over? Add to that list YYZ-MXP which is switching from 789 to 788 (...Jump to post
Great news! Congrats to BOS on another milestone. The entrance of JJ to GRU probably really boosted the S. America numbers. I was surprised at the increase in European pax, quite an uptick from the previous year. Also, with BOS having 27,479,720 pax this year so far, we are 12,520,280 pax away from...Jump to post
Is that typical for them to use a 763 on that route? Rare to see wide bodies on these stage lengths anymore. Fort Lauderdale is one of the largest cruise ports in the world. Plenty of traffic in and out. Rouge flies the 763 into FLL year round. I was there in February and there was one headed to YY...Jump to post
If UA can operate profitably to EWR and IAD, AC to YUL, I think there should be a case for a GVA-BOS flight. Neither Boston as a hub nor Boston as a market and city are in the same league as New York dba Newark, DC or Montreal. While I agree with you about New York/Newark, what are you basing Montr...Jump to post
