Hi all, I was just looking way back in the forum and I came across a post about a number of other aircraft that may well have been hijacked if flights hadn't thankfully been grounded. Does anyone have an update on the Virgin Atlantic A346 retirement plans? Last I heard, it was supposed to be around September of this year. I am trying to catch one before they go. Also, does anyone have any info on Azerbaijan's A345s? As of now I know they have 2 mostly operating the GYD-IST-GYD a...Jump to post
With F-GLZJ now gone, A340s in the AF livery are a thing of the past. Only the Ex Joon birds remain, anyone know how long they have left?Jump to post

Right on that beautiful livery.
It's not a entirely a freight company since the two 757s are passenger aircraft. It is still flying.
It looks to me like they’ve just done it like that due to needing the aircraft ASAP. I wouldn’t be surprised if it gets the full Livery at some point. Saying that, I do see SN getting a simplified Livery. Maybe billboard titles and have the blue extending from the tail onto the fuselage.Jump to post
I was just casually looking at aircraft for sale and came across this 77W. Any information about it? Looks like it’s an AA bird. Anyone know what happened here or what airline? Appears to be a M...Jump to post

I wouldn't be surprised if at leas they have to pass a "visibility" test of some sort. Like a fully black aircraft is a nono, to prevent incidents at night (at the airport in particular). But likely nothing to do with copyright infringement or anything commercial. Meet Alsie Express, not ...Jump to post

Almost immediately after takeoff, one of the engines exploded and we had to do an emergency landing in a field shortly after the runway.
What about Enter Air? Holiday and charter flights out of Poland can't exactly be a very profitable business, certainly not with Ryanair Sun competing them into the ground. Enter Air also operates many charters outside of Poland (Especially in the UK during Winter) I think they're safe for now. Inte...Jump to post

MAN is effectively closed due to a power cut resulting in fuel being unable to be pumped.

http://www.Aviation-safety.net indicates that the wing tip of EI-SEV (which was taxiing) hit the tail of G-GDFB, which was stationary. Apparently minor damage to FR, but unknown for LS. Given that G-GDFB is now 27 and LS are already retiring the B737-300, will this be a write off. Depending on the ...Jump to post

You can really hear the engine struggling.
I have two questions: 1. Why did he not turn the cabin lights on? 2. What was he doing to be able to hear noises? Looks like the aircraft was cold and dark so the only thing I can think of is he was doing an exterior check/maintenance? I am not an airplane expert and correct me if I'm wrong but as ...Jump to post
