I also like this livery. Well-done Air Orange.

RE: What Are All The Flights Into And Out Of Africa?

Emirates flies (widebodies only in the fleet): 7 times weekly to Cairo nonstop. It flies A300-600R into Tripoli 3 times weekly via Malta on the outbound leg, being upgraded to A330-200 equipment. Starting March 31st, 3 times weekly nonstop to Casablanca in Morocco (A332). Effective April 8th, nonsto...

RE: Edelweiss To YYC/YVR

I was not aware that Balair used to fly to YVR and YYC.

Is KLM still flying to YVR?

What is the situation at Balair (I believe that swissair had a big stake in Balair)?

I'll just stay mum and do nothing... I mean I do as I am told, just like a sheep (for once!). I won't try anything funny.

RE: Edelweiss To YYC/YVR

Yes... it does sound like MP or KLM. I remember that KLM (during 1995, if I am not mistaken), had an MD-11 (or B767) flying the AMS-YYC-YVR-YYC-AMS beat. Is KLM/MP suspending flights to YVR? It's a pity if it is so... was thinking of flying DXB-AMS (on KLM) and continuing on to YVR on MP... with th...

I hope to fly jetBlue during one of my next trips to the States.

Seems quite like a cool company.

RE: Will LH Order A330-200?

LTU already operates a number of A330-200s and A330-300s. I think that given the competition and attention that the fleets are given among the German holiday airlines, it might be a good idea for Condor to order the A330-200 (and a -300 or two?) as a replacement for the B767-300ERs. Lufthansa might...

Ok, I may be biased, but I think that Emirates deserves that prize.

Furthermore, a lot of people have voted it so.

Plus, I believe that HH Sheikh Ahmed is doing a remarkable job.

Lionel: Don't misquote me, nor misunderstand me:- 1. I said "'small but rather strong European carrier'" and I put it in inverted commas as I wanted to mean 'relatively small' (you can go up the thread and reread that... and make sure you have your glasses on if you have a pair (just kiddin', ok?!)...

RE: Swiss' Alliance Partner?

My bet: swiss will join oneworld. The now-gone swissair had a lot of co-operation with oneworld members such as AA, QF, AY, IB, Aer Lingus and could be (I am not 100% sure) also with BA & CX, even during the heydays of the Qualiflyer Group. STAR will have a lot of explanations t...
