They all fall victim to the changing sun angle at PHL then. As you get to summer the angle for 27s at PHL makes for a more nose lit set-up. Will add some brightness when I have a bit more time to edit more photos. Kas if you remove "dark" as a reason then everyone will have to use underexp...

That equipment change makes a big difference. Colors are night and day between your two set-ups. Looks a bit better. Just wonder if it is still a little too dark/contrasty.

Harry, The A330 the screeners agreed with my thinking and it was accepted. The two year old photos was that the same equipment you are using now? Colors just don't look nearly as good. SQ 330: Slight CCW rotation. Maybe like 0.25-0.50. May have a color cast there, just something looks off about that...

Hi, Len In my opinion, the contrast and the exposure of the above photos are fine. But regarding to the first one, it seems indeed a little low in frame but not very serious. And the color of the last one seems ok for me actually. Maybe the cloud seems a little magenta but .... i think is ok. Cheer...

Thanks Kas! The two changes I made were resizing before sharpening and it is now bicubic for the sampling. Sharpening now in masks to only selectively sharpen areas that need it. CL30 being appealed then. No new gear. My lens was at Canon a few weeks ago for a tweak of the focus but all of these pictures are from before that was done. MU 738 looks to be OS overall. The rest look okay to me.

As for that CI 744 OS towards the nose. Looks like you might have done a bit more sharpening to cover an original that is softer or has a little blur?

CZ 787 better now with that redo of the colors. HU A333 I'm just not liking that area between doors L1 and L2. Maybe it is just really soft there that makes it look a bit blurry to me. Air China: I've had similar type of issues where the glare line right along the window line led to acceptance woes....

Don't want to sound too hostile in my response but this looks you just need to take the contrast down a bit. The image has a deeper harsher contrast that darkens out the underside of the wing and rear lower part of the aircraft too much.

It's about a 1-2 pixel border on the image provided. There is no white line but rather a faint change in the blue sky visible around the aircraft. Are you doing anything else like lens correction?

Not East Asia, but one of the two EWR-TLV flights will be on the 77W soon... I know TLV is slated to get one 77W on it. I really thought we would see a few more 77W routes out of EWR. The cheatlines are quite jaggy. If you didn't apply any sharpening, then resizing could've been the culprit. As for the blur, it just looks slightly blurry in general. AA: No heavy work on it. Levels, sharpen, and resize. Equalized to check for dust.

As for the clipped stabilizer, I had a plane on the ground with a clipped stabilizer accepted in early 2016. I don't recall seeing any sort of rule changes in the past year.

Is there anything we as the photographer should do when submitting. Do we have to comment for priority in the box? I thought just a new registration is automatically flagged by the system.
