Didn't even know AA's hangar at GRU was already in operation...
BTW i also don't believe the foam can "destroy" the a/c.
- So for fire suppression we're gonna use a foam that destroys the aircraft the same way than the fire.-

Ok, now we know the a/c type but was it a common thing to overfly Downtown Manhattan in such low altitude in a commercial jet back in the 80's?
I'm pretty sure it wasn't a departing or descent pattern.

Once I paid a premium economy seat with KL and they changed from 77W to 772 and I flew regular seat.
Days later i wrote to them and within a week the price difference was refunded into my credit card.
No worries at all.

Sad news. I've seen this movie in Brazil with VP, TR, RG and many others.
TAM just survived due it's selling (or JV, whatever) with the former LanChile.
Now this.
Hope they find a way out of this. Brazilian market need AV to keep rates/services in a reasonable level due competition.
