You can still fly the DHC-7 in Kenya too. Air Kenya operate it several times a week on their morning Nairobi-Masai Mara flight. Myself and Loran are going to try and catch a flight on it during our forthcoming Kenya trip.

I would ask for a link to the site so you can see it for yourself.

The e-mail does not seem unreasonable to me. Also, to my knowledge HY have recently retired the Tu-154 & YAK-40, but the An-24 may still be operating.
