If I understand correctly in MEX you can't do through check in of luggage from int'l to int'l so no matter what you try you will still have to pick up your luggage.

Yes but those routes listed, except CPH, MNL, and CGK, has been 77W before the A359 EIS. CGK is only seeing one daily 77W. You can assume the same airframe also goes to MNL. Still doesn’t add up.

I noticed SQ is deploying the A359 on routes where it previously deployed the 77W (e.g. MXP, MUC, AMS).

While I noticed some routes have been upgauged (e.g. CPH is now a 77W route), where are all the 77Ws coming off these routes going?

Why would you have any trouble upon arrival in Singapore? You can bring in as much wine as you wine.

Duty free allowances are 1L wine 1L spirits 1L beer or 2L wine 1L beer or 1L wine 2L beer. Anything above you can still bring in but you need to go to the customs office and pay duty.

I was a bit confused initially. I was going to say I flew 9V-SYL last night and it is now an albino Star Alliance livery plane with the brown/ochre seat covers, but then I saw this is from 2009. Thanks for sharing. Those purple seat covers are a blast from the past!

The problem is, of these 625 million people, a large majority of them are poor and cannot afford flights, or if they can, not very frequently... But no, I don't think it's too much for SIA...they probably have the numbers to support their flights...ASEAN alone doesn't have that many SIA destination...
