Not as short for sure, but KL seems to like doing 5th freedoms. They also do KUL-CGK and SIN-DPS. SIN-DPS has great deals, usually S$250 for Y and S$500 for J RT if you book in advance.

To be fair I have only tried it on the 748i in the upper deck, where you get a bit of extra space with the bins by the windows, but it is fantastic, and once the partition goes out, suuuuper private.

It took me years to realize the tail is actually the Union Jack. Not at all obvious. Needs additional elements of blue to stand out. To me, it always looks like some kind of a red scarf made in MS Paint.

Look at SQ's schedules on SIN-LHR. It is mostly A380s with the odd 77W depending on the season. You have two daily red-eyes SIN-LHR and two daily day flights SIN-LHR. For those curious, I had a very tight (~25 min) connection in ICN which I made with time to spare, and KE 35 ended up arriving in ATL 40 mins early. Immigration and customs took less than 5 mins and was even able to catch an earlier connecting flight to FLL.

What is the cut off? How do you define a short long haul flight? How long is a piece of string? Is DXB-MCT a short long haul because it is flown on a widebody but it is short? You are basically asking for medium haul flights.

All turbo prop ops (so far just Firefly) have moved to XSP. There's rumors there will be other turbo prop operators (Malindo, GA perhaps) launching turboprop ops at XSP. While SIN will remain all jet.

Flown DL a few times SIN-NRT, it was usually the cheapest option, especially last minute.

Would fly DL over TZ/TR any day. The 763s are way better than the 787s (e.g. PTVs, etc.). But of course would rather fly SQ at the right fare.

It was mentioned on History of PIA that the security apparatus around ISB was very sophisticated. The flight takes a circular takeoff path and has to be at least at FL240 before entering the airspace over KP (former North West Frontier Province), and at least FL280 before entering Afghan airspace. ...

ACES, Continental, ALM, SAM. ACES and Continental were fantastic. ALM I flew from CUR to AUA. Don't remember much. SAM was OK. Also flew AirUK. First time as a UM. From London (don't remember which airport) to FLR. Flight felt like it took forever.
