Dear all, a few months ago, while waiting for PSS to release updates of their products, I wanted to get my hands on a professional FS9 add-on. Thought about the PMDG 737-600/700 but then went for the SSW A310-300. Paid USD 36.95 on their website and received an activation code. Installed the entire ...Jump to post

I see the point behind that strategy... to save costs. However, the willingness of passengers to fork out ?1000 for a 60-90 minute flight will sink drastically with those changes. From the sound of it, this is how I feel flying should be like!
I would always pay more to fly on a full service airline that serves main airports. Duo sounds great. Let's hope they do well!

<i>Exactly, safety-wise it just wouldn't work. Even if they built a tunnel of a similar style to the chunnel, a train breakdown might mean that evacuated passengers have to wait while rescue vehicles travel anywhere up to 500 miles to reach them. And those vehicles would have to transport hundreds o...Jump to post

Seriously though, this won't happen!
I wasnt saying that the livery looks bad! But if you want to show the customer that you have changed, updating the livery from a classic 70's design to a very fresh look for the new century might not be a bad thing. Keep the green, red and white, keep the "A", but some adjustments need to be done IM...Jump to post
Why do you think most Italians prefer flying other carriers? Unarguably, their reputation is that of an unefficient unreliable airline. If you are a yachtie, there's a marina right next to the airport (called Dragor). You can also take you boat right underneath the approach path which makes for spectacular views on the approaching aircraft. Though staying at the marina wasn't quite my thing due to the noise, the views were excellent!Jump to post
I hope you put good thought into your decision! Airline shares are particularly vulnerable to world events, eg. chicken flu, recessions, wars etc.
