I was wondering where Leland ran off too. He used to over-report the news in Orlando.

RobK, simply do not read this thread. That way you don't have to deal with the horror of a duplicated thread. RE: WN's New Boarding Process

I am very excited to try out the new boarding process over Christmas. I'm a little concerned about being shafted on the 24 hour check-in rule though. I'm the conceirge for a resort in Orlando, and I check in guests quite often for Southwest flights. I sat at the computer and clicked "check in" for a...

Alex, thanks for posting the pic of the remodeled gate area. If the gate area has the room for it, it looks great. Seems like smaller cities like SDF might have problems with the design. Cheers! Drew

Airlines You Will Never Fly?

After several of my friends had their vacation to see me in Orlando ruined over Valentine's Day, I think I'll shy away from Jetblue for my Florida - New York travels. Obviously the weather wasn't their fault, but the handling of the situation still leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Funny how when the new livery came out, most of us on a.net (including me) HATED it! The new livery spelled the end for Delta. Now that it has grown on me a little bit, I think this livery looks best on all of the aircraft shown above, except the 767. I'm sure lots of you still hate it, and will con...

I just wonder how this did not end up on the news. The Cessna 310 that circled and landed gear-up in Tampa gained national news coverage. Was the time span too quick between the report of the emergency and the landing?

That was a great video! WKMG always does a good job covering stories like this. I remember a few things from Inflight Training, which was over 10 years ago. In a nose-gear up landing, the best exits to be used are the forward exits, since the back of the aircraft will be higher off the ground, and t...
