Contains some strong language!
I got my CAA/JAA CPL at 120 hours (plus 15 hours sim), and will be attaining my ATPL at a shade over 145 hours (plus 45 hours sim) total; which makes 384 hours for a PPL seem ridiculous!
Jump to post40 minutes at HAJ, from one AB flight to another after the timings were changed!

£1 for a 500ml bottle of Pepsi, or 95p if you go to the shop and buy one. Crisps/chocolate bars are generally 50p.

Jump to post1) The term was 'serviced apartments', but it was more like a hotel. In Sydney, overlooking Circular Quay, the Bridge and Opera House. We had a panoramic view - I can't remember the name though! I could while away hours watching comings and goings though! 2) The Venetian, Las Vegas. Fantastic rooms,...
Jump to postI don't spot as in logging or writing things - I have a fairly good memory as to what I have seen before, but am not concerned with registrations. I just like to be around the aircraft, hearing the engines and watching them take off. Photography is what keeps me interested.

But by my reckoning that is actually 5 years and 10 days?
Anyway, it works out at about 2.4 posts per day.

Jump to post-5 most of the morning in Oxford; I'm not sure it reached positive figures! My car had serious ice on it this morning, took 15 minutes to defrost as water simply re-froze!

Only info I heard at Oxford today was that he was asked to call at 4dme, and didn't.

Jump to postThe BBC must be a bit slow; nothing showing online yet. Hopefully this won't be anywhere near as severe as Buncefield.

Hollyoaks has some extremely pleasant eye-candy, but it is hardly intelligent viewing.
Great report - I hope to head to BGI in February; would be nice to fly BA as well, but I suspect price will be the deciding factor!
Jump to postGreat report; It is always nice to see how airlines from other cultures operate. I have to admit, I don't think I would fly Saudi given the choice!
Jump to postThe recorder. I used to dread recorder recitals at primary school; the damned instrument is bad enough solo, but with a group of 10 or so trying their best to keep in time and in step it became a nightmare I never wish to undergo again!

Jump to postIt is quite possible that due to the age of the 757s and the maintenance they now require, that is has been determined to be more cost effective to operate payload reduced flights with the A321 as opposed to the 757.

Adoption may be a little weird for the child growing up with two same-sex parents, but I don't see why the couple would be incapable of bringing the child up just as well as normal parents (probably better, judging by some families here!).
