The current plan for the two new SJC gates 29 and 30 are to be added to the south end of Terminal B as very long jetbridges to reach those hardstands. The building itself won't be expanded much if at all.

Upgrade CA99 to Interstate standards. Ridiculous it still isn't one. AFAIK there are only a few at-grade crossings remaining anyway. Widen some shoulders and raise some overpasses and you're done. I find it ironic that some think we should not have the very "liberty" enshrined in the pledge- to not be forced into reciting it.
