RE: Best Small, Short-haul Freighter?

I guess BAe 146 is pretty quiet and I think TNT still uses them ? But how about its economics ?
Why are there so many An12s still in use ? Is there any special economic advantage in these birds ?

RE: Best Small, Short-haul Freighter?

Yes, I agree. But what would it be if we consider the next level - An12/727 size ?

RE: Best Small, Short-haul Freighter?

If one compares the An12 with a 737-300F which one would have the lowest operating costs per tonne ?

Best Small, Short-haul Freighter?

A number of Asian, Arabian and African operators are still using An-12s for short-haul freighter flights. I understand that this is due to the low acquisition and lease costs. But what really is the best performing small freighter for short-haul flights ? In an operating costs perspective, as well a...

@oldeuropean Nicely spot. Yes, it's pretty obvious if you take a closer look.
But the 757 looks just as if it's on the carrier.

@AirForceOne Am just one year older than you. Do what you do right. Tim Clark started at a very low level, as an airport "_" agent ( I just don't remember the exact job title, but it was just a tad bit higher than ramp ). If you're hard working and bright enough, working your way to the top is easie...

Avjobs.com, aviationcrewfinder.com, Flight Global Jobs section.
But my opinion is, post the vacancy on a LinkedIn group, this way you can also source info on the candidate's experience and talent.
