RE: Emirates In The US

Well, let me tell you Amir. I believe that we Americans, are well aware that Emirates is one of the best airlines in the world. In my opinion there is no airline in the U.S. that compares to Emirates,( exept for maybe Midwest Express) based on the quality and customer services. It is my understandin...

RE: What Airline Do You Love To Hate?

All of USAir's past color schemes have all been boring, and this one is not excluded. Even I could have come up with the new color scheme. I mean having a cheap gray american wanna be flag as your logo does not really make people want to admire you!!! It's like looking at a military plane or someth...

RE: What Airline Do You Love To Hate?

I really don't like US Airways at all. Could'nt they think of a better color scheme, I mean it's so boring and formal. The flag looks ugly on that dark plane. They should have been more creative. The scheme looks like it has no life.

No I don't think everyone is rich there! Maybe it's just that there is a large expatriat population of Chileans from Iquique and the surrounding cities that otherwise have to go all the way down to Santiago to connect. Remember! It only stops there once a week. By the way Derico. I am pleased to me...

Definetly agree with you. PAN AM was the best airline offcourse, I mean first to fly 747's & 707's Everything that made it the greatest includes it's great history, and it's great developments that trully helped to globalise the world as we now know it. It also left great landmarks like the Worlport...

RE: Love The TWA 747-100

I fully agree. Since I never had the oportunity of flying those wonderfull old 747-100's, I can at least say that I flew TWA's. I was to young to make decisions of flying alone. However, In 1993 I flew a TWA 747-100 from LAX to St. Louis. After the flight 800 crash I got smart and decided to fly the...

By the way, Does anyone know if Vasp still fly's to Los Angeles & Seoul. Before the Brazilian crisis Vasp used to come into L.A.X with an MD-11 where it would then continue on to Seoul, Korea. The only way you can fly on a 737 in the 21'st century is by flying to Peru and getting a ticket on board AeroContinete, which has several 737-100's in its fleet left.

Responding to your reply on the other taesa article: The reason why you are stranded is because TAESA was found unfit to fly and was grounded. I think you're wrong. They do fly to Tijuana, as a matter of fact, I passed by Tijuana International Airport about 2 weeks ago and saw a 727-200 of theirs. Aerocalifornia is so - so. first of all let me tell you that their punctuality is bad. Their fleet is pretty old. But isn't it exiting to fly an old airliner!!!! They do offer first class on all their planes but it isn't a business flyer oriented airline. It mainly fly's low budget vacationers and M...

Although Aerocalifornia has old planes that are between 25-30 years old, they are a pretty safe airline. They really have not had any crashes with their fleet, exept for one case were a DC-3 crashed killing all on board. The flight was a long time ago though, Back in the early 80's or so. About 2 ye...

Does anyone know how many 767's does Aeromexico have in its fleet. Escala, Aeromexico's inflight magazine states they operate (3) 767-300 & (2) 767-200 but I think this reflects the fleet at the begining of the year. The fleet at the begining of the year was up to 63 aircraft but I am almost certain...
