I flew IAD-LIS on a 757 and LIS-EWR on a 767 and the 767 was definitely more comfortable. But then again, the 767 is probably one of the most comfortable. The problem with the 757 was the meal cart blocking the aisle and people getting up at the same time, but it wasn't a big deal. More or less like...

In the long run, I think B6 will do just fine in ATL. There's a lot of skepticism, and understandably so, but ATL always has been a tough market for anyone. I think the DL's MD90s will hold past 2020. I'm sure their 717s will.

So they won't be all gone, but nothing like it is today, which is barely what it used to be 10 years ago.

Right. I think your concerns are unfounded. If they were doing poorly, they would be pulling back a not adding new routes. But that's not the case.

And airlines are always advertising. Does Delta really need to put billboard advertisements at ATL?

I think its probably too early for them to start looking into this. I expect that their 717s will be flying for a long time to come. I'm can foresee propeller planes coming on this route, if the engines on other smaller planes like the E170 are not suitable. But they could also mitigate this issue b...

I never understood the airline within an airline strategy (and I still don't). What would Delta gain by bringing back Song?
