Very nice report in these very nice cabins.

But can someone clarify : Is The Residence not the Apartments ?? Are they seperate cabins/classes ? Can't even work it out on Seat Guru. So is EY A380 confirgured as Residence/Apartments/Business/Economy ? Is that right ?

Thanks for sharing. It sure is a classy cabin, although as you say nowhere near EY/EK/QF and more like a very good J cabin !

Thanks for the report! Regarding the IFE, it's nothing to do with the EU so not sure why that was announced! This crazy. We're talking about a BA 777 operating to MAD and it gets like this !!

You can only book Club Europe & Economy for these flights just the same as all other European flights. Higher status customers may get bumped up but not even sure F gets used ? Maybe some one can clarify ?

Yes it is interesting this route/aircraft. I am actually booked on BA458 in May in J. Aircraft shows 772 F14/J48/W40/Y122. BA booking only allow J & Y bookings so not sure when/how F & W get used. Maybe higher status customers will get get the benefit of a bump up although would be suprised ...

The Thomas Cook B767's are now gone, one has gone to Amazon Prime Air, and the other 2 to Condor. However, still plenty of widebody action from MAN: Jet2 will have an A330 to various points, notably Palma, Rhodes and Tenerife. Not that amazing. BA often sells ex MAD/BCN/BIO to SIN for around €400 return and that includes luggage and meals etc. Absolutely ! Done it myself £363.00 MAD-LHR-SIN-LHR-MAD including IB A345 to LHR. Taking advantage of those cheap ex EU fares !! I prefer to pay 470€ instead of 800€, call me crazy...

My friend just returned from ADD (To LHR) and said the airport is ok. You wouldn't be there for long anyway as a transit pax. Plus ET onboard service is good. If you're Star A loyal, get to fly A350, B788 and transit thru ADD what's not to like ?!? If I couldn't afford BA then ET for me !

Well I'm from/in London & love BA ! I'm genuinely the biggest fan. I think LHR T5 is great, short haul, long haul cabins are really nice (including Club World), British service and nice new aircraft. I look forward to every flight including LHR-PHX in CW later this week ! Cannot wait.
