Well it's about time they announced this one.

Now I just have to wait for a certain user to come and claim that his precious Delta will destroy meanie JetBlue.

It's always sad to see the Queen retired, regardless of what airline it is.

Seeing United retire their 747's makes me dread the upcoming retirement of Delta's 747's even more.

I remember an article from 2 years ago that said that the airline wanted to put the A380 on the CAN-JFK route. Assuming it's been that long since they said that, I guess they didn't follow through with that consideration.

I'm sure they'll add service to Alaska eventually, but I don't see WN service to the other 4 states happening anytime soon due to lack of demand.

As of now, VS flies the A346 to ATL year round. I assume they will eventually replace the A346 on the route with the A350-1000, and because those aircraft begin delivery in 2019, I see a replacement in 3-5 years time.

Is there a possibility for a flight from ATL to some European cities like SVO, WAW, HEL, ATH, PRG? PRG could most likely work as a summer seasonal service, as could ATH. I could certainly see them adding SFO and BOS, but I doubt they would add LAS and SAN. As for aircraft, I'm gonna have to agree with the posts above and say the 787. They would be a great replacement for the 767's and the 772's.

If RSW were to get service to the UK, it would either be British Airways from LGW or Thomas Cook from MAN, but I think British Airways has Florida covered pretty well with MIA, FLL, MCO and TPA, so I think Thomas Cook is more likely. Besides the UK, I could potentially see Condor jumping into RSW.
