I hated the UA lay flat business seats pre Polaris. Four across in the center section of a 777! I think the new Polaris seats are my favorite of any I've flown in. I just wish I could go somewhere.

I don't know how it works in Australia or elsewhere, but in the US publishers get a discount rate for magazines so it costs less than you would think.

I wouldn’t fly on any airline that does not require masks and enforce their use. I do slip my mask off for a few seconds to sip some water or eat a pretzel but otherwise it stays on.

Did you read that statute? It doesn't ban SSTs. It's a noise limit. If an aircraft can meet the noise restriction, it can operate.

As I recall (possibly wrongly) the new runway was to be considerably shorter, intended for regional and maybe narrow-body jets. Is the plan now to make it long enough to be an alternate runway for 777, 787, A350 and A380 aircraft?

Not resolved yet, but listening to LiveATC it seems that delta at t2 and T3 is fine. Sounds like wn planes are backing up on the ground.

I’m on a WN flight parked at SJC on my way to LAX. We have been told that fuel system is broken at LAX so no aircraft can get fuel to leave and gates are all occupied so we can’t leave. Anyone know what is happening?

I have never understood why people think hydrogen is an ecologically advantageous fuel. Making it is always energy intensive. So is storing and transporting it. Lots of military aircraft have angled tails but they have two special cases not required by civilian aircraft. The angled tails have reduced radar cross sections and fit better in the hangar deck of an aircraft carrier. Rather than ask why they don't have a v tail, maybe ask why they should have one.

The duty free issue is something I never thought of. Maybe that's why you need a boarding pass to access New Zealand international terminals but not the domestic ones. But since the airside of most large domestic NZ airports are pretty barren not many people want to enter when not necessary.
