RE: N/S LHR-KHI & -CCT; Viability?

KHI, you're a seemingly knowledgeable individual, especially with Pakistani affairs. I'm curious as to whether an airline could perhaps operate LHR-KHI-CCT, and actually have passenger rights in KHI to carry those to CCT and vice versa.

RE: What US Airlines Will Serve Cuba?

A once-weekly scheduled service already exists between MIA and HAV. It's operated by IBC Airlines.

RE: Priceline.com

I agree with you entirely. Perhaps the company should seriously consider offering an 'view it and then decide' opportunity, whereby they e-mail you the price and other essential information, and you have a set time limit in which to respond. It would be ideal if Priceline.com contemplated offering t...

RE: Priceline.com

I don't believe you can. You have to hand over your credit card number and, if the company finds a ticket within your specifications, it'll automatically purchase it on your behalf.

RE: BA 727

BA does not and has never operated the 727. All such aircraft (plus the 737-200), are operated by the South African airline, Comair. BA has an agreement with this airline, which operates all its aircraft in BA's livery.

RE: The Official Word From British Midland

Obviously if BD operates international flights from LHR, then they will discontinue domestic or European flights. Indeed, this was vividly demonstrated when the airline stopped its LHR-ZRH services, making way for the up and coming LHR-MAN.

RE: BA Livery Websites

One reason why the airline decided on debateable designs, was to reflect the destinations which the carrier serves. Indeed, that's why if one looks closely, can see various countries stated under the tail. The previous and in reasonably boring 'British' livery, was not at all reflective. The then ne...

I note with fascination your occupation. I'm actually working towards the same and, like you, am remarkably interested in aviation.

If you're at LHR sometime, perhaps drop me a line and we can meet up.

N/S LHR-KHI & -CCT; Viability?

I'm incredibly curious as to whether the following suggested flights would be viable. Obviously I haven't yet fully evaulated them, in terms of predicted demand, full competition, most suitable aircraft, etc. However, I'm still after your valuable views on the below: I'm suggesting a non-stop 763-op...

Brussels-Africa FREIGHT-only Services

Sometime ago, I read with fascination the possibility of commencing a Brussels-Jeddah-Nairobi-Harare-Johannesbury pure-freight flight. Since reading this, nothing has materialised, consequently begging the question: Why doesn't Belgium, as a former major African colony holder, operate more freight-o...
