I am fascinated by European leisure airlines flying longhaul on norrowbody - like AnimaWings A321neo to places like ZNZ, Tarom B737 to MLE or Dutch Corendon to NAT... A good chunk of Africa can be reached by a narrowbody from Europe, with flights 6 hours or less. I know Turkish does a lot of these....

Well, the March schedule has been pretty good for American out of ORD. Seeing more CRJ-700s replacing E145s on various routes (ROC, ALB, IND, BHM, GRB, etc.). Also, mainline has returned (in the form of the 738) to routes like BNA, SLC, and others.

MSP is a bit out of the way for most Midwestern connections, as others have mentioned, given its geographic location in the north of the country. That said, I have seen people flying STL-MSP-DEN, STL-MSP-LAX, and even STL-MSP-MDW.

How has DL done in maintaining routes when they’re low on pax over the past month or so? I’m on a flight with only about 10 for a 170 this week. And flying from secondary airports means lower taxi times and atc delays - additional fuel savings over the hub and spoke model. Think CLT and ORD for examples. I love how specific the pilot was on the ATL-MCO leg. Most times they just give the arrival weather, time to the airport, and maybe the gate. Even mentioning what direction we'll be landing from is appreciated by me.
