Re: Lufthansa installs Embraer 190-E2 ‘full flight simulator’ in training center

Big order expected?! The CRJs at Cityline will most likely be replaced by 223s or E2 195s or used A319s. But I don’t expect a decision this year. For now it’s more used 319s (7 coming from OS). OS also Parks some 320s (longer term) and LX likely, too. The question hence will be not only is it worth...

Re: Is Silver Airways getting a new livery?

It's actually a bit more than just a new livery. The aircraft is second hand, from a different leasing company than all the others. My guess is it's a cheap one that was already painted white, and they just added stickers. Wonder if its a permanent addition or just for the short-term.

Re: German Green party candidate for chancellor want to ban short haul and LCC flights

From my point of view low-cost airlines are the most efficient way to fly: -they use young, most efficient, clean and most quiet fleets -they serve only routes that fill their aircraft. If some route doesn't work they close it. They don't serve capital routes, traditional routes or anything that is...

Well, to be fair, if you block the middle seats - you may be able remove the galleys and a flight attendant or two. You would still need the legal minimum number of attendants though. In a high-density Wizz Air config, an A320 would come down to 120 seats, so 3 cabin crew. But if she bases the comp...
