How will Lion Air replace the lost capacity of these 29 739'S? Lease Airbus or Boeing aircraft when additional capacity as needed when air travel picks up post Covid? They operate in a region of the world that collectively has been losing money for years. Change was inevitable, COVID is the catalyst.

Did you even confirm if any of these are owned by Castlelake entities? I don't think it's a requirement that Castlelake owns the frames. FlightGlobal notes that Malindo has (had) 10 lessors for 20 jets. GECAS is the lessor on multiple aircraft, so I doubt Castlelake owned all 6 B739.
