My best guess for the 767 you saw was DL159 DUB-ATL which was ship 1702 N172DZ on the third of June. The positions on FlightAware also match and I actually saw them on my flight tracker today flying in formation bewteen the NYC area and PHL today around 1400EDT. I think those are the planes you saw....
