CARES was an attempt to hit the pause button so everyone could catch their breath on the downward spiral, allowing the airlines to survive the initial shock. That sounds to me more like giving Airbus pilots something to fly, given how the west Coast schedule has been decimated.


I heard it’s to rotate the pilots back in so they stay current.
