Re: Skywest reducing frequency in 18 EAS markets

DOT has ruled that SkyWest cannot reduce the service to 10 Weekly to the Selected Communities. In order to reduce it, the community themselves must request the reduction in service. Only then, will DOT allow it, community by community. Docket: DOT-OST-1999-6589-0145 While we appreciate very much th...

Re: St. Louis Aviation Thread - 2022

United's Schedule for June I agree on the argument that STL will not be used to connect to LH's STL-FRA. United will not do that...however I don't think that was Jshank's intention. It is frustrating to see SFO be pushed back over and over again. Especially seeing other mid or same size cities gett...

These towns would be so dumb to get caught up over frequency and not keeping a 1X jet with a Major airline code This is exactly why MWA-Marion, Illinois voted Cape Air in 2019 over SkyWest. Re: Skywest reducing frequency in 18 EAS markets

None of the regionals have extra pilots. For UA to take the EAS and send it back to a regional, they will have to pull some other regional flying that is almost certainly more profitable. Wouldn't the plane have to be towed away anyway to allow other airlines to use CBP and the Gate while LH is prepping for departure?

Unless of course there IS no scheduled arrival in that two hour time in STL.

CGI-PAH is bus territory at 44 miles. UA runs several buses between Ft. Collins and DEN and that's 45 miles with traffic. There are a lot of very small cities that would be better served with a quick bus ride to a nearby "not quite as small" city instead of wasting the resources of a flig...
