CLT- COS: summer seasonal A320 As much as I'd love to see it, I just think an A320 to CLT is a lot of capacity at the moment for COS. Maybe a E175 or CR9... AA does a pretty good job of funneling COS traffic through DFW with 4 flights and a 5th during the summer. And honestly I'd rather get the 5th...

Their timings are really horrible on the flights...minimal connection opportunities unless you want to wait most of the day for their European departure bank...same goes with the inbound to OKC. CYS is yet another Mountain West / PNW location being connected to AA’s megahub and not to Phoenix...... hmmmmm....... I think this has more to do with the funding for the route than anything. Agreed - I thought the Expressjet/Skywest flying (which is out of Terminal E) was all CR7s. That would be odd to have one flight a day at DFW with a CR2. Does AA fly to CYS from elsewhere with at CR2? Is the plane doing a DFW turn? CYS doesn't have any current commercial service since Great Lakes l...

I think AA was the last major carrier to CYS and pulled out when the funding dried up to support the route. Probably a pretty good chance that will happen again... I thought AA had pulled all the CR2's out of DFW? Haven't seen one there in my last 4-5 trips.

Nice article in the Colorado Springs Gazette regarding traffic numbers at COS being up 25% for the first half of 2018 from 2017.
