Re: Climate Change is Full Steam Ahead

Something I have always found amusing is the people who 'ooh and ahh' over volcanic eruptions, treks to the rims of these monsters, watching the mighty earth create more "land" as she dumps fresh lava into the oceans (all of these, truly, are spectacular, don't get me wrong here), don't se...

Re: Country with largest foreign narrowbodies presence.

Off the top of my head, with really no specific data to back it up, I'd go for Singapore, Thailand, Great Britain. Only because of the prevalance of Asian LCC or ULCC, and Great Britain because of it's proximity to the Continent and to Ryanair.

Slick looking B777! I'm not so sure that PR going to SEA and tagging onto YYZ is a great idea (or a good one). It woud be interesting if they even got the ok from the Canadian gov't for that one. And it would poach traffic from Vancouver as well. When you add in the added pain it would be to transit...

Re: Will Davao Intl improve their Intl "Terminal"

Considering the goat show MNL was, and is, it would be surprising that Davao would be kept out of things for long. At least you'd have Cebu in the central part of the country, and with Davao having some service, would take a lot of volume strain (and passenger's strain) out of Manila. It would even ...

Saw that earlier....hadn't noted the altitude, just the NASA designation. Pretty cool, I'd imagine the data must have been very interesting. Love to see some photos of that mission. Much safer this way, but still need to do penetration flights, don't think a Global Hawk could take the beating? The ...

Saudi Arabia has a huge sovereign fund that has to be invested in many US companies and assets. I don't think it has to be invested in US companies. That's one of the fears: Saudi Arabia will pull its money out of the US for fear of it being frozen and/or seized, resulting in real damage to the US ...
