RE: 400 Mm For Nikon

hi Martin, Thanks for your feedback. I did try the 70-300VR, and compared it with Tamron's 70-300VC. At that time, I felt that the Tamron was better from 200-300mm. So I kept the Tamron - until two weeks ago I obtained the D7000 - I got funny AF issues with the ...

RE: 400 Mm For Nikon

This is a great thread, esp for Nikon users. I wished Nikon makes lenses like 70-200/4 IS, 70-300L and 100-400L, though. I just got a new D7000 and am having trouble finding the right lens. 70-200 <acronym title="TACV ...

RE: Advice Tamron/Sigma

I always shoot RAW. When I sold the Tamron 70-300VC f/ Canon to a friend, it was sharp on his 450D and 40D. Nevertheless, both D7000 and 60D are extremely capable cameras. For spotting, however, I still use my 60D.

RE: Advice Tamron/Sigma

I have been using 70-200/4 IS until I thought it would be nice to have a 70-300. So I got myself a Tamron 70-300VC - and a month later the shop told me they had the new 70-300L. So I compared the Tamron against the new...

RE: Wide Angle Lens For Canon EOS

Yerbol, Sigma's 12-24 is made for full frame camera and is an old design, while Tokina 11-16 is for APS/DX. If you're camera is FF, you might want to take a look at Tokina's new 16-28/2.8 (probably as good as nikon's 14-24). For DX/APS-C, Canon 10-22, Tokin...

RE: Shooting Technique... What Am I Doing Wrong?

My experience with IS: With Canon 70-200/4 IS, when I set to mode 1, I got less sharp photos than mode 2, though not too many difference...
