Expedia slapped together end-on-end PTP fares, which apparently is legal per fare rules or it would not produce that itinerary and there was no notation of separate tickets as I saw on other offerings. where are you booking from(which country) and what website.?

I am in US and was able to book on Expedia, but not on Aer Lingus's site. Some fare types have point of sale restrictions .

AC and PD's Q400 have the extra padded seats . WS's do not .

One can book using debit card on a 3rd party site if WS's own website wont accept(which just seems hard to believe).

OAG monthly worldwide published guide is $1200/year! there is an online version for about 1/2 that or maybe 1/3 of that but still not cheap, but quite comprehensive. I believe back then K class was something they called "Thrift Class" , deeply discounted and not offered in all markets. It might even have been without a meal. a sort of "proto' un-bundled fare!

when only lowest fare is used as the parameter, yes, these can be offered up through computer generation . A travel agent would not offer up as there is such a thing as "lowest LOGICAL" fare.. Offering this up in person would make one seem literally crazy

Just flew NK MCI-LAX nonstop and WN return via HOU. To be honest I found Spirit surprisingly efficient and SW seemed not up to par with inexplicable pushback delays and odd inflight service patterns. Just an anecdotal FYI
